Our Story

Hi, I’m Scott. OCD Detail started with family, a shared love of detailing, and a goal to build something worth passing down.

My nephew Caleb has been detailing for about five years and continues to master the craft. He loves paint correction and the more technical side of detailing, but his favorite part is seeing people’s reactions when they see the finished product. I started as a DIY detailer, became obsessed with the craft, and eventually we decided to build something together.

Why OCD? I work in social services with people facing addiction, homelessness, and mental health challenges, so the name isn’t meant to make light of mental health. For us, OCD is about the standard we bring to the work—Obsessive Care. Every Detail. It’s a simple promise that we’ll treat your vehicle with the same care and attention we’d give our own.

My son Brennan is already interested in detailing, photography, and video, and there’s another generation of our family coming up behind him.

For me, OCD Detail is about more than building a business. It’s about building something that brings our family together while giving us the opportunity to serve yours.
